Statement on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 1926-2022Philip Seccombe, Warwickshire Police and Crime Commissioner, said:

“It is with great sorrow that we have learned today of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. As Police and Crime Commissioner I want to pass on my deepest condolences to all members of the Royal Family at this very sad time. I know that people from right across Warwickshire will similarly be holding them in their thoughts and prayers.

“During her long and remarkable reign, Her Majesty showed unstinting and steadfast dedication to public service which will continue to provide a great example to everyone in public life for many years to come. She showed great wisdom and kindness and touched countless people‚Äôs lives.

“God Save the King.”
