Police and Crime Commissioner shows racism the red card

October 21, 2016

OPCC staff and police officers holding 'Show Racism the Red Car' bannersWarwickshire Police and Crime Commissioner Philip Seccombe and staff at this office in Warwick have donned red to give their support to the ‘Show Racism the Red Card’ campaign  (Friday 21 October).

The anti-racism educational charity encourages people to wear a red item of clothing to highlight their opposition to all forms of racism and raise money for the charity to help it deliver anti-racism training to more than 50,000 people every year.

Mr Seccombe joined officers at Stratford Police Station in helping to promote the campaign, while members of his office staff were also dressed in red to show their support.

For more information on the campaign and the work done by Show Racism the Red Card, visit www.theredcard.org where you can also pledge donations.
