Ministry of Justice Funding Announcement – Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Support Services and additional ISVA / IDVA posts.

April 11, 2022

The MoJ have recently announced to Police and Crime Commissioners multi-year, ringfenced funding opportunities for Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Support Services and have stated;

  1. £15.7m ringfenced national funding is available for domestic abuse and sexual violence support services
  2. £3.75m national ringfenced funding is available for 100 additional ISVA/IDVA posts

In order to allocate this and to ensure an up to date picture of local need, needs assessment templates must be completed by bidding organisations to inform our Warwickshire needs assessment. The PCC will then send the needs assessment to the MoJ for final decision making and allocation of funding.

Please ensure you read the guidance carefully and send all completed assessments to Precious Williamson (OPCC for Warwickshire Commissioning and Grants Lead) at: Precious.Williamson@warwickshire.police.uk

Documentation must be completed and returned by 5pm on Friday 22nd April 2022.

A briefing session to allow for any clarification and questions and answers for potential bidders will be provided on MS Teams between 10am and 12md Thursday 14th April 2022. If you would like to be invited to the session please contact Chris Lewis on Christopher.Lewis@warwickshire.police.uk
