Warwickshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner, Philip Seccombe, is seeking to recruit a Development and Policy Lead to support him to deliver his vision, strategy and priorities for policing and community safety. On behalf of the Commissioner you will lead on the policy area of Grants, Commissioning and Engagement.
You will join a successful team who represent the Commissioner at meetings, liaise and work with statutory and third sector partners, prepare policy papers, conduct research and prepare briefings and reports.
You will be suitably qualified with excellent oral and written communication skills and experience of producing reports and briefings. Some experience of working in the criminal justice system would be helpful but not essential. You will be highly motivated, a self-starter and able to work in a team environment, be flexible, proactive and use your own initiative.
This is a challenging but rewarding role in a varied and dynamic environment as the role of the Police and Crime Commissioner continues to develop and his responsibilities increase.
