Decision summary:

To sign a third letter of variation to the Hosted Services Agreement to allow for Warwickshire Police to benefit from limited enhanced services from West Mercia Police in the form of access to 100 laptops for the period 1 February to 28 February 2022 at no cost.

1. Background information

The Letter of Variation varies the Collaboration Agreement between the Chief Constable and Police and Crime Commissioner of Warwickshire Police (“Warwickshire”) and the Chief Constable and Police and Crime Commissioner of West Mercia Police (“West Mercia”) pursuant to section 22A of the Police Act 1996 (as amended) in relation to Hosted Services (Forensics, Transactional Services and File Storage) (“Hosted Services Agreement”) to make changes to the ICT and Digital Services elements which commenced on 1 October 2021 (DN WPCC2-0181 refers) 

The letter of variation enables Warwickshire Police to benefit from limited enhanced services from West Mercia Police in the form of access to 100 laptops for the period 1 February to 28 February 2022 at no cost.
